A Bit About Me!

I live in Gloucestershire with my husband and 4 sons - I am very outnumbered! We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place and the nature all around definitely inspires my art.

I am a primary school teacher and have always loved teaching children art, especially using strong colours and patterns.

I started The Lovable Leaf in 2018, making and selling beautiful and unique cut paper art. All my pictures are handmade, some I design and draw all the shapes then cut them by hand; Some I use paper punches to cut the shapes.

​

I use 200gsm paper, which is strong enough to stay 3D but easy to bend and shape. I have a large collection of different papers with many different patterns and colours. Buying new ones may be becoming a teeny bit of an obsession. I also use old wrapping paper and origami paper too.
